In the year of 1914 an organization was formed to uphold the values of brotherhood, scholarship, and
service, this organization was named Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated. Later, a Honorable Brother of the Fraternity
Parlett L. Moore founded a youth organization, called the Sigma Beta Club. This club was made to teach young men 8-18 leadership
skills, wisdom, and guide them through pre-teen to teen years.
The Sigma Beta Club of Savannah, Georgia was established in the year of 1999 under the leadership
of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Member Romondo Stewart with 8 founding Members, The Founding 8. Now there are currently 21
Registered Members, instructed by Moncello Stewart.

Principles of the Sigma Beta Club are:
Brotherhood - The Sigma Betas of Savannah show Brotherhood by having Weekend Sleepovers that
consist of step practice, bonding activities, socialization with sister organizations such as Archonettes and Zeta Phi Beta
Sorority Incorporated, and we explore college life perspective through the eyes of our Big Brothers.
The Sigma Beta Club is the brother organization to the Zeta Archonettes of Zeta Phi Beta, Sorority, Inc. We show love
by organizing community service activities and social outings together.

Wisdom - We as the members of the Sigma Beta Club of Savannah, Georgia do more than just hang out. We associate ourselves
with the wisdom provided to guarantee a successful life. We are all members of the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement
of Colored People) Youth Council, and participate in community service project (affiliated with the Salvation Army, Savannah
Chatham-County Board of Education, Ralph-Mark Gilbert Civil Rights Museum, etc.).
Scholarship - Scholarship is expressed very strongly through the group. We are all required to keep a suitable grade average.
Our advisors are educated in a variety of majors including Literature, History, and Mathematics. We also attend some of the
most prestigious high schools in Savannah (Jenkins High School, Savannah Arts Academy, Johnson High School, BHS, and SHS).
Our intellect rises to a level above average. Were not only educated but respectful towards our community.

Pride - We show pride for our colors,
big brothers and sisters, sister organization, and our group. The Blue & White Family (Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated,
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated, Sigma Beta Club, and The Archonettes) are as strong as the values and principles we stand
for. We believe that showing pride in what we do displays to the world that we are who we say we are, The Blue & White
Family, forever.
